End of an Era

14 years and 1 month after joining the Army i officially became a 'civvie'.
leaving the army for personal reasons left me with mixed emotions.
I left for compassionate reasons which made the choice for me and although it was a good time to leave I cant help but feel regret as only 8 more years would see me retire after a full career.
having done Kosovo, Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan on top of all the non operational tours I feel that I have at least 'done my bit'.
I was even awarded a Combat Photographer Statue which are provided by Nikon and are only supposed to go to those leaving after 22 years so was very greatful for that.

Anyway life now goes down a new road, lets see where it leads.
